Temporary Vacancy – Crew Administrator
Holyhead Towing Co. Ltd is a well-established company providing specialist vessels to clients in the construction, windfarm, oil and gas industries. We employ multinational crews and work in various countries world-wide including Africa, Europe, the Middle East and South America. We currently have a temporary vacancy for a period up to 12 months to cover maternity leave within our busy crew department.
Based at our offices in Holyhead you will be required to work 08:00hrs to 17:00hrs Monday to Friday. You will also be required to be available for out of hours’ Emergency Travel Duty covering one week in every four which sometimes requires out of hours working.
Reporting to the Crew Manager and working alongside two Crew Coordinators, your responsibilities will be but not limited to:
Arranging cost effective travel for our crews and superintendents which may include flights, hire cars, buses, ferries and accommodation.
Arranging Crew and Superintendent Visas, keeping track of visa extensions and expiry dates.
Issuing, tracking and logging of PPE.
Checking validity of crew certification, arranging the booking of courses / keeping our crew database up to date with crew details / certification.
You should have good communication skills and be able to work under pressure with the ability to adapt to ever changing operational requirements. You should have experience working in an office environment and in using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel.
Salary based on experience.
